Jerry D. Rogers, age 80, of Crossville, passed away July 25, 2021.

God has showered Jerry with miracles during many years of heart issues and hospitalizations. He was a quiet man, but he had God’s spirit in him that he shared with others. His family says that he was unselfish and charitable.

Jerry was a fireman for the city of Miami Beach, Florida for 25 years. He lived in South Florida and loved diving, fishing, and playing tennis. Jerry always showed trucks he would shine up and drive to various shows around the country. He loved flowers and would work daily in the yard to make it perfect.

Jerry is survived by his wife: Linda Rogers; son: Robert C.; daughter: Sheryl Abad (Robert); granddaughter: Jessica Abad; grandson: C.J. Abad (Allison); sister and brother-in-law: Deborah and Joe Weinflash; and their daughter: Mindy Hertzon.

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home says cremation arrangements have been made.
