Jerry Walter B. Patterson, age 83, of the Midway Community passed away peacefully Saturday, April 19, 2025. He was an avid greyhound dog owner and spent many years enjoying his dogs and the friendships that came along with them. He retired from the Road Sprinkler Fitters U. A. Local Union No. 669.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma J. Patterson, parents F.B. and Imogene Patterson, granddaughter Taylor Lankford and son-in-law Michael J. Bonfini.
He is survived by son Terry Patterson (Cindy), daughters Rhonda Bonfini and Marilyn Rich (Dami). He is also survived by grandchildren Ashley DeMerchant (Aaron), Alex Rich (Olivia), Rachel Conaty (Michael), Michael Bonfini, and Nick Bonfini (Blair) as well as great-grandchildren Kylie Rich, Jameson and Harper DeMerchant, Michael, Cameron, and Charlie Conaty, Rook Bonfini, and Dami and Maxine Rich. He is survived by sisters Sue Kelly and Freda Ramey, nephews Jason Patterson (Julia) and Ralph Ramey (Lindsay), and niece Lisa Jolly (Chuck). Also, survived by lifelong friend Paul Colyer and greyhound friend Lester Raines.
Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025 at Midway Church of God Cemetery with Dr. Tommy Patterson officiating.
