RESOLUTIONS PASSED BY CUMBERLAND COUNTY COMMISSION
Last night, the Cumberland County Commission approved the following resolutions. All resolutions passed unanimously.

Building Maintenance Director: Chase Wood appointed unanimously.

E-911 Board: Tom Isham reappointed for a four-year term (expires April 30, 2029).

Adult-Oriented Establishment Board: David Gibson and Grant Thurman reappointed for four-year terms (expires April 1, 2029).

Industrial Development Corporation Board: Cliff Wightman, Josh Stone, Travis Isaacson reappointed, Sonya Rimmer appointed for four-year terms.

County Medical Examiner: Dr. James Wojcik reappointed unanimously.

Health and Safety Standards Board: Nancy Hyder and Sheryl Webb reappointed for four-year terms.

Homestead Tower Donation (Davis): Approved donation of Homestead Tower to Tennessee State Park System for maintenance and museum use.

Fund Balance Policy (Holbrook): Adopted as recommended by Tennessee Comptroller, to be posted online.

General Fund: Sheriff’s Department (Holbrook), County Clerk (Mall), Ambulance Department (Potter), Fire Department (Holbrook).

Other: Approval to purchase the Snodgrass building from the City of Crossville (Isham), Gear Up grant (Wilson), state retirement (Wilson), school fund amendments for general programs, ISM grant, cafeteria fund, employee bonuses, Chromebooks, and outcome monies (all Wilson).

Codes Department (March 2025): Issued 48 residential, 1 commercial, 29 mechanical, 28 plumbing permits; collected $64,001 in fees.

EMS: Collected $544,461 in March, year-to-date $3,361,298 ($169,461 above monthly, $13,698 below annual projections; needs $375,000 monthly for $4.5M budget).

Sales Tax (February): $1,155,681 for BOE, $54,055 below projections; year-to-date $172,676 above.

Property Tax: 96.79% collected vs. 99.29% prior year.

Hotel/Motel Tax: $786,465 (62.85% of $1,251,275 annual budget).

Prisoner Boarding: $323,039 of $386,952 annual budget.
