Jim Brooks, age 92 of Jamestown, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the U.T. Medical Center in Jamestown.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the Albany Cemetery in Albany, KY.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown. A light lunch will be served in the Community Room next door to the Chapel. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the refreshments in memory of Mr. Brooks.

James is survived by his:
Wife, Carolyn (Price) Brooks
Sister, Ella Dean Pittman and husband Ken
A host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends

He is preceded in death by his:
1st Wife, Lorene (Duvall) Brooks
Parents, Ted & Opal (York) Brooks
Sister, Betty Wright and husband J.L.
Nephew, Derek Wright

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to the Fentress County Food Bank or the Charity of your Choice. Donations can be left at Jennings Funeral Homes.
