MANY ITEMS STOLEN IN A1 STORAGE HEIST
On Friday last week, Deputy Nicholas Matheus was dispatched to A1 storage on Peavine Road, where he then made contact with a victim who said that her ex-girlfriend came to the storage unit and stole her belongings.
The victim showed that the lock was cut from the storage locker, but due to the lack of surveillance, there was no proof that her girlfriend had been the suspect in the crime. Due to weather conditions, deputies were unable to get any fingerprints, and due to the amount of traffic that flows through the storage units, they were unable to see any clear tire tracks.
Deputy Matheus told the victim that she should keep an eye out at the local pawn shops and online websites where the stolen property could have been sold. The victim told the deputy that she had insurance on the items and would be contacting them about the incident.
Items that were stolen include:
- A Crock-Pot valued at $30.
- A 17-in portable charcoal grill valued at $25.
- A Shark Rock vacuum valued at $100.
- A k55 classic series coffee pot valued at $60.
- A Craftsman pressure washer valued at $40.
- A 52-in Sony TV valued at $150.
