Jimmy Chesser, age 72, of Harriman, passed away December 3, 2020 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.  He was a devoted member of Emory Gap Missionary Baptist Church for many years. He is preceded in death by his wife: Wanda Chesser; parents: John & Dorthey Chesser; and 6 brothers and sisters. He is survived by sons and daughter-in-law: Jimmy Jr Chesser, Mark & Jill Chesser, and Timmy Chesser; daughter: Ava Kenney; brother: Joe Chesser; grandchildren: Mark Jr, Andrew, Kayla, Zeth, Chasity, Tyler, and Dylinger; and great-granddaughters: Brenleigh and Bayleigh. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 1 until 3 p.m. Funeral services will follow. Graveside services will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Midtown. Davis Funeral Home in Harriman is in charge of arrangements.
