Mrs. Joann Hamby, age 75 of Wartburg, went home to be with the Lord Friday July 18, 2025. She was born September 10, 1949, at Harriman Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Kelly Brooks.

Her parents: Fred and Martha Pollard.

Her brother: Ray W. Pollard, and infant brother: J.D. Pollard.

And her father and mother-in-law: Carl and Olive Hamby.

She is survived by her loving husband: Robert Hamby.

Two sons: Michael (Shawn) Stewart, and Allen Bunch.

Stepsons: Michael (Mary Ellen) Hamby, and Kevin (Heather) Hamby.

Her sister: Betty (Donald) Griffith.

Sister-in-law: Paulett Pollard.

Her grandchildren: Jesse and Jenna Stewart, Dustin (Marissa) Parks, Keith (Alicia) Brooks, and Ashley Brooks.

Great grandchildren: Aleigha Brooks, Adam and Barrett Brooks.

Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other family, friends, and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Monday July 21, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM in Elizabeth Cemetery.
