JoAnn Tilley Thomas of Sweetwater, 89, went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2024. She was born to Nannie and Cordy Tilley on May 12, 1935. JoAnn was a hairdresser for over 50 years and a member of Beulah’s Chapel. She was a people person and loved talking with family and friends. She also loved her weekly bingo games.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her husband, Sam L. Thomas; her son, Terry Lee “Rusty” Thomas; her siblings, Bonnie Anderson, June Bracket, Kenneth Tilley and Bill Tilley.

She leaves behind her sister; Essie Goforth, stepson; Ronald Allen Thomas, her grandson; Cody (Hailey) Thomas, granddaughter; Nikki (Brad) Alexander, several nieces and nephews and many friends at Woods Presbyterian.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 1:00pm-3:00pm in the chapel of Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 pm on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Beulah’s Chapel Cemetery.
