Joseph “Joe” Christopher Long, age 44, of Crossville, formally of Harriman, passed away unexpectedly June 1, 2020 at his home. Joe was born August 19, 1975 and was a 1994 graduate of Harriman High School where he played football and baseball. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Paul & Betty Jones, Jim & Martha Long, and Omil & Ada Ruth Johnston. He is survived by his fiancé: Trista Cuzzort and her sons, Jason and Jarison Simmons; mother and her husband: Margaret & Jonny Johnston; father and his wife: Jim & Shelia Long; siblings: Heather Barger (Wesley), Mike Long, Donna Devereauz (Jerry), and Ann Johnson (Daniel). Joe also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Along with many aunts and uncles and all of his family was loved and treasured by him. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Emory Heights Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. eastern. Funeral to follow.
