Graveside Funeral Services for Joe Roe, age 61, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Mark Neely will officiate. Mr. Roe was born on January 22, 1964, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to the late Edward Joseph Roe and Marilyn McPeek Roe Williams. He passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a bridge construction foreman for over 35 years working previously with Mid-State Construction Co., Inc. He attended Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and Hope in Christ Fellowship. He was a Monterey High School graduate. He is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, Mildred Vaughn Roe of Monterey, TN; son, John Michael Roe of Monterey, TN; a host of cousins; and his beloved chihuahua, L.J. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be given to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. The family will receive friends at the Wilson Cemetery for graveside services.
