John Travis Hall, 62

John Travis Hall, 62 of Oliver Springs passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Johnny T. Hall on March 18, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on January 13, 1963, Johnny was a cherished son, devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, caring brother, dear uncle, and a loyal friend to many. His sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. Johnny was a lifelong member of Beech Park Baptist Church.

Johnny shared 43 years of marriage with his wife, Janie Duncan Hall. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventures, including their most recent eight-week trip out west, where they created treasured memories surrounded by the stunning beauty of nature.

One of Johnny’s greatest sources of pride and happiness was watching his daughters, Laura and Kelsey, play basketball. He delighted in cheering them on from the stands, celebrating their achievements, and sharing in their passion for the game. These moments brought him immeasurable joy and became cherished memories for his family.

Johnny also cherished the time spent with his three grandsons—JT, Duncan, and Declan. Whether it was playing video games, shooting hoops, or pulling all-nighters filled with laughter and bonding, these moments were among the brightest highlights of his life. Beyond that, Johnny loved playing golf with his closest friends—Jeffy Joe, Joe Bob, Foxxy, and Dano—and shared a special friendship with Tony Harper. His time with them brought him camaraderie, joy, and unforgettable memories.

Johnny was a man with a giving heart, known for his quick wit and sharp comebacks that never failed to bring smiles to those around him. He was admired for his warmth, sense of humor, and the generous spirit he extended to everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Morrell Hall and his mother, Patricia Brown Mason and husband, Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janie Duncan Hall.

Daughters, Laura Lynn Mount and husband, Jonathan; Kelsey Reid Nolan and husband, Eric.
