His sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. Johnny was a lifelong member of Beech Park Baptist Church.
Johnny shared 43 years of marriage with his wife, Janie Duncan Hall. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventures, including their most recent eight-week trip out west, where they created treasured memories surrounded by the stunning beauty of nature.
One of Johnny’s greatest sources of pride and happiness was watching his daughters, Laura and Kelsey, play basketball. He delighted in cheering them on from the stands, celebrating their achievements, and sharing in their passion for the game. These moments brought him immeasurable joy and became cherished memories for his family.
Johnny also cherished the time spent with his three grandsons—JT, Duncan, and Declan. Whether it was playing video games, shooting hoops, or pulling all-nighters filled with laughter and bonding, these moments were among the brightest highlights of his life. Beyond that, Johnny loved playing golf with his closest friends—Jeffy Joe, Joe Bob, Foxxy, and Dano—and shared a special friendship with Tony Harper. His time with them brought him camaraderie, joy, and unforgettable memories.
