Funeral services for Joyce M. Gunter, age 80, of Sparta, who passed away on December 9, 2023, will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Bilbrey Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with burial to follow at Green Acres Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. before the service.

Survivors include her husband: J.C. Gunter; son: Michael Gunter; granddaughters: Brandi Jolley (Joshua), Amanda Gunter, and Rebecca Gunter; great-granddaughters: Jesalyn Tollett, Jaidyn Tollett, and Josie Jolley; and brother: Raymond Gist (Lela).
