JUDGE RULES JOSEPH DANIELS TAPED CONFESSION IS ADMISSIBLE IN COURT

A judge ruled yesterday Joseph Daniels’ taped confession can be used in his upcoming trial set to begin June 1, 2021.

Daniels is charged in the death of his missing son, Joe Clyde, who disappeared from his Dickson County home April 4, 2018. The boy’s body has never been found.

At a previous hearing, prosecutors and defense attorneys agreed to sever the cases of Joseph and Krystal Daniels into two trials. Joseph Daniels will stand trial first.

Joseph Daniels was charged with criminal homicide.

Krystal Daniels faces aggravated child neglect and endangerment.
