Authorities say a minor started a fire intentionally at a closed car wash in Oak Ridge.

Police and fire departments responded to the structure fire at 80 Jefferson Avenue.

Firefighters extinguished the fire.

Shortly after, a juvenile came to police headquarters and admitted to starting the fire.

The juvenile, a male, was charged with arson and released to a parent.
