Goff – Funeral Services for Kendra Hicks, age 50, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be conducted on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Pastor Keith Tosh will officiate with interment to follow in the Welch Memorial Cemetery. Nurses Honors will be provided by The Tennessee Nurses Honor Guard. Kendra was born on Tuesday, July 16, 1974, in Monterey, Tennessee, to Katie Phillips Anderson and David L. Whittaker. Ms. Hicks passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at her home. She was a Nurse working in healthcare for 20 years. Her greatest joy and love was to be a Mother and Grandmother and she took great pride in making her family know they were the most important part of her life. Working in healthcare, she felt the part she enjoyed most was the people she came in contact with and the love she had for her patients. She was a Christian and strong in her faith. She was a Monterey High School graduate class of 1992. She is survived by her, daughters, Ashley (CJ) Ware of Spring Hill, TN, Macey (Zach) Dilldine of Baxter, TN; mother, Katie (Paul) Anderson of Cookeville, TN; father, David L. Whittaker of Monterey, TN; grandchildren, Lily, Jamison, and Harper; sister, Cindy (Randy) Tosh of Cookeville, TN; niece and nephew, Emily (Justin) Langford and Wade (Emily) Tosh; great nephews, Carson and Cole; stepbrothers, Michael Anderson and Mark Anderson of Cookeville, TN; and a host of cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Grayson. The family will receive friends at Goff Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM until time of services at 2:00 PM.
