KENTUCKY CHILD DIES AFTER DOG BITE

Louisville Metro police report a young child died yesterday after being bitten by a dog. The child, who appeared to be about three years old, was pronounced dead at Norton Children’s Hospital.
Police spokesman Lamont Washington said the attack was reported around noon at the intersection of 38th Street and Grand Avenue, inside a home. There was no information released on what precipitated the incident.
Louisville Metro Animal Services is quarantining the dog for ten days.
