KNOXVILLE HUMAN TRAFFICKING STING LEADS TO ARREST OF ROCKWOOD MAN
Charles Ed Boles, Jr., 48, of Rockwood, Tennessee, was one of eight people arrested during the undercover joint human trafficking operation conducted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Human Trafficking Unit and the Knoxville Police Department on April 21 and 22.
He faces a single charge of Solicitation of a Minor – Patronizing Prostitution, specifically involving a victim under the age of 15. The charge stems from investigators placing decoy advertisements on websites associated with prostitution and commercial sex, with the operation’s main goal being to identify individuals attempting to engage in sex acts with minors.
Boles was booked into the Knox County Jail following his arrest. No additional details about prior criminal history or other charges against him have been released in connection with this operation.

- Hongtao Li (DOB: 08/07/78), Arcadia, CA: one count of Prostitution
