The Lake Tansi Emergency Communication Services (LTECS) will have a booth at the Lake Tansi Autumn Leaf Fall Festival on September 13 and 14, 2019. The festival will be at the Veterans Park in Lake Tansi Village. The LTECS is an all volunteer member project to provide communications following any disaster where normal communications have been disrupted. There will be drawings for FRS (Family Radio Service) radios on the hour from noon until 4 p.m. each day. Additionally, there will be an amateur radio station in operation at the booth.  Everyone is welcome to stop by and learn about the LETC and the benefits of volunteering.
