Linda (Lucas-Kerr) Choate, 76, of Crossville, TN passed away peacefully in her home on October 10, 2026. She was born October 22, 1949 in Tuckerman, Arkansas to the late William and Emmer (Summers) Lucas. She is survived by her husband, Dave, daughter, L. Shelley Jackson (Mike Choban), son, Brian Johnson (Doris), both of Nancy, KY, step-daughters Cori Ledford-Kerr and Jennifer Kerr of Florida, step-son Michael Choate (Teresa) of Indiana, brothers William Lucas (Georgetta) of Indiana, and Jerry Lucas (Kimberly) of Maryland, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents, brother, Ed Lucas, and her late husband, Larry Kerr. She loved quilting, crocheting and spending time with her dog Andy. In her earlier years she loved mini vacations, Nascar, fishing, and family gatherings. She was strong-hearted, self sufficient and loved deeply. She will be deeply missed. There will be no services at this time. Graveside services will take place at a later date. Donations can be made to Gentiva Hospice of Crossville or hospice of your choice. They are saviors at the time of need.
