Lois Ann Watson, age 57, of Crossville, passed away on March 29, 2024. She was born July 19, 1966, in Crossville, the daughter of Leslie and Martha Music Warner. She worked for more than 20 years as a preschool teacher at Bright Futures where she loved all her children there and they loved her too. She also enjoyed her flowers and had a tremendous fondness for her animals. The love she shared with her family was the most important part of her life. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her spouse: David Burke; children: Jerry A. Murray of Crossville, April England (Jace) of Crossville, and Amber Miller (Ben) of Crossville; brother: Leslie Warner (Teresa) of Crossville; sister: Carolyn Simmons (Randy) of Crossville; and grandchildren: Carson, Jared, Jaedyn, Jaxton, Cadence, Jadisyn, Carter, Mason, Emma, and Landen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Landon Warner.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at noon at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until noon before the service at the funeral home. The burial will be in Hattie Blevins Cemetery in Scott County.

The family has respectfully asked that instead of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 ST Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
