VOLS DEFEAT CREIGHTON TO ADVANCE TO ELITE 8 OF NCAA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

The Tennessee Vols defeated Creighton yesterday 82 to 75 to advance to the Elite 8 of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. It is the second time in program history the Vols will appear in the Elite 8.

The second-seed Vols will take on number-seeded Purdue in the Elite 8 tomorrow (Sunday, March 31, 2024) at 1:20 p.m. Central.

The winner of that game advances to the Final Four of the tournament.

If the Vols win, it would be their first appearance in the Final Four in program history.
