Lolita Shannon Daugherty, age 87, passed away March 3, 2020. Lolita was a founding member of the Star of Hope Chapel on Flat Fork Road in Wartburg. She worked at Red Kap in Harriman for 15 years. She loved her children and her family. She is survived by her sons: Gary Daugherty (Donna), Randy Daugherty, and Darrel Daugherty (Gloria); grandchildren: Kevin Daugherty (Valerie), Sara Potter (Chad), and Kaitlyn Warriner (Quinton); great-grandchildren: Kayden and Connor Daugherty, Mason and Jaxon Potter, and Kai Warriner; sisters: Juanita Armes (Foye) and Peggy Budnik; brother: Bill Shannon (Nancy); and a host of nieces, nephews, special friends, and her loving dog, Susie. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 8, 2020, from 1 until 2 p.m., with the funeral service to follow. A graveside service will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Star of Hope Chapel, P.O. Box 1651, Harriman, TN 37748. Evans Mortuary in Rockwood is in charge of arrangements.
