LOOKING GOOD SUNDAY

As you well know, Saturday was quite a day of weather across Tennessee with a line of thunderstorms progressing from west to east and blowing down a lot of trees and causing lots of problems but the good news was   there were no major reports of damage from tornadoes. Not much rotation in the storms but plenty of straight line wind. Crossville had a wind gust of 56 miles per hour in the downtown area and wind that strong is very rare in this area. Rainfall reached almost 2 inches in some areas and there were numerous reports of lightning strikes associated with the line of storms. Sunday is going to bring partly cloudy skies and a high in the upper 50s, a much better day to enjoy. But rain chances will be returning from Monday night through Wednesday it will be likely, a 40% chance Monday afternoon. Only one day to dry out so enjoy your Sunday.
