Lou Ann Walker, age 90, passed away July 11, 2021 in Crossville.  She was born December 10, 1930 in Crossville to the late James Harrison and Ethel Elizabeth Tabor Shillings.

She was a devout Christian and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. She retired from General Motors in Dayton, Ohio in 1986 and made her home in Crossville. She loved gardening at the ranch. She also enjoyed hunting for antiques, a love she passed down to her daughter and granddaughter, Alex.

She enjoyed cooking and was well known for her chicken and dumplings. Lou Ann also enjoyed watching Tennessee Vols sports.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years: Don Walker; brothers: James, David and Billy Shillings; and sister: Martha Sue Wyatt.

She is survived by her children: Donna Robertson (Harry) of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Roger Parham of Katy, Texas, Gary Parham (Patricia) of San Antonio, Texas; bonus children: Richard Walker (Vicky), Kenneth Walker (Carla), Donna Bristow; grandchildren: Alexandra Fitzgerald of Breckenridge, Colorado and Jordan Parham of Kettering, Ohio; and 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. central Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, 2653 N. Main Street, Crossville, Tennessee 38555.  Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. central with interment to follow immediately at Green Acres Memory Gardens.
