Louis Hanes, age 90, was born on October 17, 1933, to Frank and Ethel Hanes in Blanchester, OH and passed away on June 5, 2024, at his home in Crossville, TN.

Louis loved Nascar, even more so, racing cars himself, and he had a passion for restoring old cars and tractors.

He is survived by his children Louis R. Hanes Jr, Kimberlee (Kenneth) Gagnon, Stephanie Hanes, and Desiree (Joseph) Cimino; grandchildren Zachary Hendershot, Taylor (Melissa) Hendershot, Jordan Cimino, and Joshua Cimino, all of Fort Pierce, FL, Briana (Anthony) Guidace of Port St. Lucie, FL, Robert Blankenship and Kay Lynn Hensley, both of Crossville, TN; and sister Rita Smith.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Ethel (Jordan) Hanes; wife Sheila Hanes; and brother Mack Hanes.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 11 am, with the service to follow at 12p, Pastor Danny Smith officiating. He will be laid to rest in Martha Washington Cemetery (Clarkrange, TN) immediately following the service.
