It is a lovely forecast for the week ahead with highs of 75 to 80 degrees through Thursday and only a slight chance of an afternoon shower otherwise lots of sun and a few scattered clouds. By the end of the week and next weekend high temperatures will be more like 85 to 90 degrees and next Saturday is the first day of summer. We had some scattered showers and thunderstorms around the region early this afternoon and my weather Watcher Joanne in Rockwood reported 1 inch of rain and quite a bit of small hail in that area.
