From the Madisonville Police Department:

Madisonville, TN — An investigation by the City of Madisonville Police Department Criminal Investigations Division (CID) has led to the arrest of a Madisonville man on charges related to the sexual exploitation of a minor.

CID Sergeant Trey Kilby launched an investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Detective Kilby and the Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant at a residence inside of the City of Madisonville. Through the course of the investigation, Detective Kilby determined that Jamie Adam Hughes (DOB: 11/25/1990) was in possession of multiple sexually explicit images of minors.

On February 12, 2025, the Monroe County Grand Jury indicted Hughes on one count of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor > 100 Images.

The Madisonville Police Department arrested Hughes and transported him to the Monroe County Justice Center, where he was booked into the Monroe County Jail. His bond was set at $100,000.

The defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and convicted through due process of law.
