MAINTENANCE PROMPTS LANE CLOSURE ON I-40 NEAR MILE MARKER 285 ON TUESDAY
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation crews will close the right lane of I-40 West at mile marker 285 on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am local time to allow for an environmental clean-up from a previous crash.
This work is weather-dependent. Drivers are advised to plan ahead, expect delays, and use caution while traveling through the work zone.
