Blount County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one man injured.  Deputies responded Sunday morning around 6 a.m. to shots being fired at a residence on Mentor Road.

A male victim was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities with the Blount County Sheriff’s Office say the shooting was not random and there is not a suspect in custody as of yesterday.

This investigation is ongoing.
