MAN ADMITS TO STEALING $1,500 WORTH OF GOODS FROM LOWE’S
On Monday, Officer Jackie Grant responded to Lowe’s regarding a theft. While there, she made contact with a representative from Asset Prevention who said she had a person in the back office prior to the officer’s arrival.
This person provided a written statement admitting to an estimated $1,500 worth of stolen goods. The representative then handed the officer paperwork that she had gathered showing thefts occurring from October 15th to November 11th totaling around $648.98.
The officer made contact with the man identified as Asher Jacobson who agreed to speak with the officer and answer questions. He confirmed he had written out the statement in confession and the officer told him that Lowe’s wanted to pursue charges for the theft and place him under arrest.
The representative signed a warrant on him for the theft amount of $648.98, and Jacobson was transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center without incident.
Jacobson has been charged with the theft and an estimated value of 1,500.
