Cookeville police arrested a man for reportedly stealing a hearse early this morning from a funeral home in Putnam County. Officers allegedly saw Jeremy Leon Harris inside the hearse prior to it being taken. Harris was later arrested on Maddux Court and charged with burglary. Harris was taken to the Putnam County jail and placed under $10,000 bond.
