TWO ARRESTED IN ROANE COUNTY FOLLOWING RAID BY MULTIPLE AGENCIES
A recent raid by Rockwood police and federal agencies at a home on Eagle Point Drive resulted in two arrests. Officers took 37-year-old Mary Elizabeth Miller and 37-year-old James Lee Smith into custody. When the two arrived at the jail for processing, two jail employees had to go to the hospital after being exposed to a chemical smell reportedly coming from Miller and Smith. The two employees were treated and released from the hospital. Miller was charged with failure to appear in court and three counts of violation of probation or parole. Smith was arrested for violation of community supervision.
