MAN ARRESTED FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT AFTER CUTTING VICTIM’S THROAT AT BLOUNT COUNTY HORSE RANCH
On May 20 at approximately 11:20 p.m., deputies from the Blount County Sheriff’s Office responded to a stabbing report at a horse ranch in Louisville, Tennessee. Upon arrival, authorities discovered that 23-year-old Abdiel Gonzalez had cut a man’s throat and fled the scene, requiring the victim to be transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
While deputies were interviewing the ranch manager, Gonzalez returned to the scene and was subsequently arrested. He has been charged with aggravated assault and is currently being held on a $100,000 bond, though details regarding what motivated the attack have not been released.
