MAN ARRESTED FOR KIDNAPPING A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL HE MET ON SNAPCHAT
SALE CREEK, Tenn. — Hamilton County police arrested Johnathan Lucino Alazar, 32 after police say he abducted a 15-year-old girl that he had met on Snapchat.
On June 2nd, Alazar drove from Victoria, Texas to Sale Creek, TN, and arrived outside the girl’s home. The girl’s mother said that she had run away after she told the girl to fold laundry. The affidavit says they had been exchanging texts as he tried to find the girl’s home. Alazar picked up the girl in front of her home and they headed south and west. Police rescued the girl from a hotel room in Meridian, Mississippi earlier this month, and she is now back with her family. An affidavit says Alazar developed a relationship with the girl over several weeks on Snapchat. It says he also wired her money several times, totaling a little over $500.
Alazar admitted that he and the girl exchanged sexually-explicit videos. But he told police he did not have sexual contact with the girl after he abducted her. He also denied abducting the girl to sell her to sex traffickers.
He’s back in Hamilton County, charged with aggravated kidnapping, trafficking for a commercial sex act, solicitation of a minor, and two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means.
