MAN ARRESTED FOR THROWING A COOLER OF SIX PUPPIES OFF BRIDGE

Investigators with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department have worked diligently over the past several days to solve and make an arrest on the recent animal cruelty case that occurred in the Burrville Community.
Last week around the area of the “Bone Camp” bridge on Burrville Road, reports that a cooler was thrown off the bridge. Inside the cooler, were six puppies. According to authorities, only one survived.
A 24-year-old male is currently being held at the Morgan County Jail without bond on unrelated charges while the investigation is being finalized. Authorities anticipate he will be formally charged with 6 counts of Animal Cruelty.
