MAN ARRESTED IN SHELBY COUNTY ON 60 CHILD EXPLOITATION CHARGES FROM ARKANSAS
On January 15, 2026, Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers, working with the Memphis Safe Task Force, arrested 26-year-old Jesse Johnson in Shelby County, Tennessee. The arrest occurred around 2 p.m. in the 3200 block of Broad Avenue, based on a warrant issued the previous day, January 14, by the Arkansas State Police in Nevada County, Arkansas.
Johnson faces 60 felony counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. The arrest proceeded without incident, and Johnson was transported to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Jail, where he is currently being held pending extradition to Arkansas to face the charges.
