SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. —Brandon Whitehurst, age 27 has been arrested after police investigated a rape incident of a 13-year-old girl. On July 2nd, a report was made and Hendersonville Police were on the hunt for Whitehurst. He had allegedly left the state police and began working with outside agencies to find and arrest Whitehurst on the outstanding warrant. 

The Forrest County, Mississippi Sheriff’s Office found Whitehurst and arrested him on July 5.

Whitehurst is currently being held in the Forrest County, MS Jail pending extradition to Sumner County.
