HIXSON, Tenn. — According to the  Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, an elderly man in Hixson has been killed Thursday afternoon due to a lawnmower accident.

First responders were called at a home on the 1300 block of Thrasher Pike.s of 2 p.m., detectives remained on the scene conducting a death investigation.
