Cocke County, TN- On Tuesday, the Cocke County Sheriff’s deputies pursued Keenan Murphy Jr through Cocke and Sevier County. Mr. Murphy was wanted out of several counties on felony warrants. During the lengthy car chase, Mr. Murphy decided to flee on foot when his vehicle became disabled off Yellow Breeches Road in Sevier County.

Later during the foot pursuit officers located Mr. Murphy 20 feet up in a tree. He decided to climb down the tree when officers approached him and he was taken into custody on multiple felony warrants. He’s held in the Cocke County Detention Center.
