MAN FOUND ON THE ROOF OF HOSPITAL, GETS BANNED AND RETURNS THE NEXT DAY

Crossville city police were dispatched to Cumberland Medical Center Tuesday for a male being there who had previously been banned. Officers had banned 30-year-old Ian Morin on Monday (2/27/23) in reference to him climbing on top of the roof. Officers reported they explained to Mr. Morin that he was banned from the hospital unless he had an emergency or is being seen by medical personnel.

When the officers arrived, they located Mr. Morin at the entrance of the building. He allegedly told officers he did not need to be seen by medical staff and knew he was not to be back on the property.

He was arrested for criminal trespassing.
