Margaret Faye Jackson, age 84, of Oliver Springs, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Faye was known for her beautiful smile, kind demeanor, and the love she so freely gave to everyone around her. She cherished her church family and treasured the time she spent with her family, especially attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and cheering them on. Faye was a hardworking woman who took great pride in caring for those she loved.

She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and had a love for traveling and experiencing the beauty of the world. Her travels took her from Japan to the Netherlands and many places in between. No matter where she went or who she was with, Faye never left without saying, “I love you.” Those three words were a reflection of the love she carried in her heart and shared so generously with others.

Faye leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her daughters, Sharon (Steve O’Neal) Wright, Karen (Brent) Bradford, and Monica (Chris Duncan) Wright; brother, Andy Ashford; and grandchildren, Misty Hardwick, Jessica Hardwick, Kristina Hardwick, Baylee (Jace) Greene, Chase Bradford, Megan Wright, Emily (Tanner) Branstetter, Alley McNaughton, and Janna Duncan; along with 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Opal; grandparents; and brother, Dwayne Ashford.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, TN with a service to follow.

Following the service, Faye will be laid to rest at New Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.

Faye’s smile, kindness, and simple reminder to “I love you” will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
