Marilyn Helms, age 72, of Harriman, passed away May 14, 2020. She is survived by her husband :Walter; son: Kevin; daughter-in-law: Sonya; grandchildren: Brant and Reagan; brothers: Charles and Joe Roberts; and sister-in-law: Colleen Jones. The family will receive friends May 17, 2020 from 2 to 4 p.m. eastern at Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman with a service at 4 p.m. A graveside service will be held May 18, 2020 at 2 p.m. central time at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the East TN Chapter of The University of Alabama Alumni Association Scholarship Fund for East TN students (http://etua.org/scholarship/) or Memorial Foundation Hope Lodge in Nashville. While not required because of the coronavirus, the family will not be offended if visitors choose to wear a mask to the services.
