The Sgt. Morgan W. Strader Detachment (#1467) of the Marine Corps League will celebrate its official charter at the end of June.

The gathering will take place at the Event & Convention Center, 5429 Peavine Road, Saturday, June 29, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Detachment and state-level Marine Corps League officers and detachment charter members and spouses will be on hand.

Among those invited to attend the celebration are municipal and county officials – including mayors, council members and commissioners, Fairfield Glade Board members, and local American Legion and VFW officers.
