Marsha Jean Busby, age 76 of Crossville, passed away April 8, 2021. She was born September 11, 1946 in Sodus Point, New York the daughter of Adelbert L. and Jean L. Brisee Jordan. She had a great fondness for animals and owned her own business for several years, boarding horses, as well as operating a riding stable and petting zoo. She also worked a couple of years with Dr. Kirkeminde as a veterinary assistant. She enjoyed gardening and canning and was also a wonderful cook.She had a talent for crafting and working with stained glass. She is survived by her daughters: Sonia Durham (Robert) of Cookeville and Stacie Ann Sherrill of Cookeville; brother: Ken Jordan of Crossville; grandchildren: Stephen Sherrill, Scott Sherrill, Zack Durham (Meghan) and Sam Durham (Olivia); nieces: Kelly Jordan and Kristen Moats; and great-niece: Kayla Moats. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Walter Busby Jr. Memorial services will be held Sunday April 11, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to the service at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville.
