Mary Ellen Maldonado, age 66, of Rockwood, passed away April 13, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She has been married to Hector Maldonado for 44 years and every moment of those years, Mary’s heart of gold shown through. She always thought of everyone else and had gifts tucked away so no one was ever left out. She was preceded in death by her parents: Julian Torres and Gloria Martinez; brother: Ted; and son: Herman Maldonado. She is survived by husband: Hector Maldonado; children: Tammy Maldonado, Luciella Maldonado, Gracie Maldonado, Jamie Maldonado, and Cheiyanne Maldonado; sisters: Nellie Torres and Gloria; brother: Michael Tavitas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation arrangements have been made. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood is serving the family.
