Mary Naomi Turnbill, age 69 of Harriman, passed away May 14, 2020 at her home. She was born on October 4, 1950 in Oliver Springs. She worked as a Machine Operator at Roane County Hosiery Mill for over 20 years and later worked at Big Lots in Oak Ridge for several years. Mary enjoyed gardening and taking care of her dogs. Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Leon Turnbill; and parents: J.P. and Millie Turpin. Survivors include her children: Tina Woods and Tony Turnbill; grandsons: AJ Woods, DJ Woods, and Adam Turnbill; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers: Ronnie Turpin (Dorothy) and David Turpin; sister: Ruth Hunter (Gene); and special nephews: JR Turpin and Steven Hunter (Gail). A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
