MARYVILLE COUPLE ARRESTED AFTER MULTIPLE BURGLARIES

MARYVILLE, TN – The Blount County Sheriff announced the arrest of two individuals Monday in connection with multiple residential, outbuilding, and utility trailer burglaries.
The following individuals were arrested:
Robert Wayne Jennings, 49, is charged with four counts of burglary, three counts of aggravated burglary, four counts of theft, and four counts of vandalism. Jennings is being held in the Blount County Correctional Facility on bonds totaling $235,000 pending a hearing in
Amanda Nicole Jackson, 40, is charged with one count of theft of property. She is being held on a $200,000 bond pending a hearing in
Jennings and Jackson were charged in connection with a rash of burglaries that began in early January.
• On January 7, deputies responded to two residences on Clendenen Road to the reports of burglaries of outbuildings and utility trailers. Multiple items were stolen, including multiple power tools and other miscellaneous items.
• On January 27, deputies responded to a residence on High Pointe Way for the report of a construction trailer that had been burglarized and multiple power tools stolen.
• On February 6, deputies responded to two homes under construction on Farm of the Smokies Way that was burglarized and vandalized.
• On February 12, deputies responded to Ellejoy Road for the report of the burglary and vandalism of a residence, an outbuilding, and a utility trailer. As in the other incidents, the burglarized items included power tools as well as a washer and dryer.
During the course of this investigation, investigators developed leads into the burglaries that culminated Monday with the execution of a search warrant with the assistance of the Sheriff’s Office SWAT team at a residence on Level Drive. During the search warrant, investigators arrested Jennings and Jackson. Investigators also recovered the washer and dryer Monday that was reported stolen from the residence on Ellejoy Road on February 12. That property was returned to the homeowner.
The Sheriff’s Office is also working with investigators from other jurisdictions in connection with similar cases.
