Mattie Evott Kirby Williams, age 94, of Kingston, passed away December 27, 2020. Mattie owned M&G Ceramics in Harriman. She was the best cook in the world. She loved gardening, crafting, traveling, quilting, and was an avid bowler. Her favorite pass time was spending precious time with her loving husband, Eugene. She will be greatly missed. Mattie was many things. A wife of the late Eugene Williams. A mother of the late Marjorie Byrd and surviving daughter, Carol Duncan. She was a proud grandmother of 3, great-grandmother of 7, and great-great-grandmother of 4. Also survived by brother, George Kirby and wife Doris of Silver Creek, MS; and very special niece, Lola Parks. She was preceded in death by mother and father, Eb Kirby and Minnie Freels Kirby of Clinton, TN; siblings, sister, Eva White of Clinton and brothers, Earl Kirby of Clinton, Berl Kirby of Pensacola, FL, Alvin Kirby and James Kirby both of Clinton.
