MORGAN COUNTY, TN- Members of the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office partnered with TDOC to serve outstanding warrants yesterday. While serving a warrant on Thurman Lavender Road in Deer Lodge, officers discovered large amounts of drugs, guns, and what is believed to be “drug money”. Dallas Lavender 2/5/1959 and Stephanie Williams 7/17/1972 were taken into custody on multiple charges.

Morgan County Sheriff’s Office seized approximately 6.7 lbs of meth, over $65,000 in cash, 2 vehicles, and a Harley Davidson.

Sheriff Potter states “I am happy that we were able to get a large amount of drugs off the street today and I am pleased with our great relationship with The Department of Corrections which helped make it happen. When we work together we better serve our citizens.”
