METEOR LIGHTS UP THE SKY IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE

Early Tuesday morning, just after 2:00 a.m., security cameras and residents across Middle Tennessee witnessed a spectacular meteor streaking through the sky, producing a bright blue flash that momentarily illuminated the night like daylight.
This event, captured on video throughout the region, shocked and amazed onlookers as the meteor burned up upon entering Earth’s atmosphere. The sighting coincides with the ongoing Orionid meteor shower, which is currently active and expected to reach its peak around October 21-22.
